BYD ELECTRONIC (00285.HK)'s 2025 net profit declined by 18% YoY to RMB35.2 billion, mainly due to the impact of demand fluctuations from major overseas clients on its components business, CLSA published a research report saying. The broker lowered its 2026/ 2027 earnings forecasts for BYD ELECTRONIC by 34%/ 39%, based on demand fluctuations in its metal casing business and a decrease in operating leverage for the Android assembly business caused by memory price hikes.
