Volkswagen's sources revealed that the brand's first fully connected full-size BEV SUV, Yuzhong 08, has officially been commenced production at Volkswagen Anhui. This is the first model co-developed by Volkswagen and XPENG-W (09868.HK), taking only 24 months from initiation to mass production. Volkswagen purportedly plans to launch approximately 20 locally developed new energy models this year. Among them, "Yuzhong 08" is envisioned to be launched in the first half of the year, aiding the group in expanding its new market segment layout and further accelerating the electrification and intelligent transformation process.
