Total market turnover for the day fell 23% from yesterday to $254.481 billion. For automakers, NIO-SW (09866.HK) spiked 14.1% to $43.5 at close as it posted its first quarterly profit. LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK), SERES (09927.HK), XPENG-W (09868.HK) and GWMOTOR (02333.HK) mounted 3.5-4.4%, while GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) shot up 8.2%. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) climbed 1.2%, while XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) faded 0.8%. Intelligent driving stocks WERIDE-W (00800.HK) and HESAI-W (02525.HK) swelled 7.1% and 5.7%. Battery stocks CATL (03750.HK) and CALB (03931.HK) rallied 9% and 8.7%, while ZENERGY (03677.HK) leaped 4.2%. Power utilities and energy stocks prospered, with HUANENG POWER (00902.HK) and HUADIAN POWER (01071.HK) elevating 3.5% and 4.3%. DATANG POWER (00991.HK) advanced 5%, while CHINA LONGYUAN (00916.HK), XINYI SOLAR (00968.HK), GOLDWIND (02208.HK) and GCL TECH (03800.HK) ballooned 3.6-4.2%. CGN POWER (01816.HK) mushroomed 6.8%. Coal stocks CHINA SHENHUA (01088.HK) and YANKUANG ENERGY (01171.HK) hyped up 4.6% and 4.3%, while CHINA COAL (01898.HK) escalated 5.9%.
