Hong Kong Airlines to Hike Fuel Surcharge from Thu: +HKD50 for JP/ SK, +HKD150 for Europe/ N America

Hong Kong Airlines announced that, after reviewing its fuel surcharge, it will adjust the fees for tickets issued or reissued starting March 12 (Thursday). Short-haul flights departing from Hong Kong will see increase from HKD162 in January to the latest HKD212, up by HKD50 or approximately 30%, including destinations such as Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. Long-haul flights departing from Hong Kong will see increase from HKD589, up by HKD150 or approximately 25%, to HKD739, including destinations in North America and Europe.
