<Research>JPM Expects BYD 2Q Sales to Rebound QoQ; Rating Overweight

BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) freshly launched the second-generation of its blade battery and announced the expansion of its fast-charging network, JP Morgan said in a report. Meanwhile, the company introduced a total of 10 new BEV/ PHEV models, anticipated to begin delivery in April or May.

The broker anticipated BYD's sales to pick up from approximately 700,000 units in 1Q26 to 1.1-1.2 million units in 2Q26. The broker believed that investors will focus on the recovery of footfall at dealerships around the Beijing Auto Show on April 24.
