Consulting firm Bain anticipated that China's luxury goods consumption in 4Q25 increased by 1-3% YoY, and attributed this improvement partly to robust equity market performance, which boosted the spending desire of the affluent.

Although China's luxury goods market was nearly flat in 3Q25, it showed improvement compared to a 7-9% drop in 1Q25 and an 8-10% decline in 2Q25, Bain noted.
