CHINA LIFE (02628.HK) stumbled 4.27% to last at $33.66, with turnover of $1.518 billion, while PING AN (02318.HK) last shed 3.05% to $69.85, with turnover of $1.206 billion. HKEX (00388.HK) cascaded 2.28% to last at $410.6, with a turnover of $1.308 billion. HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK), which had been strong recently, last printed at $136.7, slipping 1.65%, with turnover of $990 million. BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK), CCB (00939.HK) and ICBC (01398.HK) ebbed 0.2-0.4%, while CM BANK (03968.HK) climbed 1.6% to $48.24 against the market trend, with a turnover of $497 million. Amid fluctuating metal prices, mining and resource stocks faced pressure. ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK) last printed at $38.92, down 6.53%, being the largest loser among blue chips, with a turnover of $1.773 billion. Its same series ZIJIN GOLD INTL (02259.HK) descended 7.51% to last at $199.4, with turnover of $435 million. JIANGXI COPPER (00358.HK) last sank 8.32% to $42.32, with turnover of $622 million. CHINAHONGQIAO (01378.HK) eroded 4.91% to last at $34.06, with a turnover of $540 million. CMOC (03993.HK) last printed at $21.32, sagging 8.1%, with a turnover of $689 million.
