Ex-HSBC Chair Douglas Flint to Become PRU Chair, Taking Office at End-May

PRU (02378.HK) announced that Douglas Flint will be appointed as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman-designate, succeeding Shriti Vadera as Chairman of the Board after the company's AGM on May 28. Vadera will retire from the Board on the same day, having completed her six-year term. PRU expects Flint to join the Board in March to ensure a smooth transition before Vadera's departure. He will also join the Nomination & Governance Committee and the Remuneration Committee. Flint had served at HSBC for over 20 years, holding the position of CFO from 1995 to 2010, and then as Chairman of HSBC from 2010 to 2017.
