US Extends Additional Tariffs on CN Chips to Jun 2027

The US government announced in the Federal Register on Tuesday that it will increase tariffs on semiconductor imports from China by June 2027, with specific rates to be determined at least one month in advance.

According to documents submitted by the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), the initial tariff rate on semiconductor imports from China will be zero for the first 18 months.
