The HSI opened 74 points or 0.29% higher at 25,875. The HSCEI opened 26 points or 0.29% higher at 8,966. The HSTECH opened 7 points or 0.14% higher at 5,534.

Techs showed mixed performance. BABA-W (09988.HK) ticked up 0.2%, while MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) added 0.9% and 0.6%. TENCENT (00700.HK) dropped 0.2%, while KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) waned 3.3%, being the worst-performing blue chip, after the Company was attacked by the black market. It is currently repairing and addressing the issue, while having reported the matter to the police.

XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) lost 0.3%. The Company will launch the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on Christmas Day, with Group President Lu Weibing vowing that the price will definitely increase.

Financials stabilized. HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) climbed 0.5% to $121.9, while AIA (01299.HK) lifted 0.2%. HKEX (00388.HK) ascended 0.9%.
