In June 2025, the State Council of China announced the Regulations on Tax Information Report by Internet Platform Enterprises, Lian Qifeng, Director General of Tax and Information Technology Administration Department at the State Administration of Taxation (SAT), said. Currently, more than 7,000 domestic and foreign platform enterprises have actively fulfilled their tax-related information reporting obligations. Platform enterprises are strictly prohibited from shifting tax obligations to delivery personnel and other workers, thereby increasing their burden.
