CN Nov Exports Grow 5.9% YoY in USD Terms, Beating Forecast; Imports Rise 1.9%, Below Estimation

In USD terms, the total value of imports and exports in China for 11M25 amounted to US$5.75 trillion, up 2.9% YoY, according to the announcement made by China's General Administration of Customs (GAC). Of which, exports rose by 5.4%, while imports fell by 0.6%, with a trade surplus of nearly US$1.08 trillion.

In November alone, China's total value of imports and exports reached US$549.03 billion, up 4.3% YoY. Of which, exports grew by 5.9%, compared to a 4% incline in market consensus, while imports increased by 1.9%, compared to the market expectation of a 3% hike. Trade surplus was US$111.68 billion.
