In wake of the sequential losses faced by China's lithium iron phosphate industry over several years, the disorderly competition and low-price involution threaten the survival foundation and sustainable development of the entire industry, China Securities Journal reported, citing industry insiders. The China Industrial Association of Power Sources will issue a "Notice on Referencing Lithium Iron Phosphate Cost Index and Regulating Industry Development", suggesting companies use the industry average cost range disclosed by the association on November 18 as an important reference for pricing and avoid breaking the cost redline to engage in low-price dumping.
