Abidur Chowdhury, the industrial designer at Apple (AAPL.US) who participated in the development of the iPhone Air, has resigned to join an AI startup, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying. Chowdhury's departure caused considerable internal turbulence due to his increasingly important role in the design team.
