China has decided to end its antitrust investigation into Google's (GOOG.US) Android, a move seen as an olive branch ahead of a call between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping scheduled for this Friday (19th), The Financial Times reported, citing sources.

However, China, as indicated by the report, seems to have shifted its target to Nvidia (NVDA.US). It is understood that Chinese internet watchdogs have already instructed companies like BABA-W (09988.HK) to halt purchases of Nvidia's RTX Pro 6000D chips used for AI.
