POWERLONG (01238.HK) expected a loss for the six months ended 30 June 2025 to be within the range of approximately RMB2.6 billion to RMB2.9 billion, compared to RMB2.047 billion for the same period of 2024, and the core losses attributable to the owners to be within the range of approximately RMB1.6 billion and RMB1.9 billion, compared to RMB1.937 billion for the same period of 2024, as announced by POWERLONG. The losses are mainly attributable to the provision of impairment for property projects based on the principle of prudence; and the decrease in fair value of investment properties, as a result of the continuous impact of the severe operating environment in the real estate industry, the company said.
