Market investment in artificial intelligence (AI) is stretching into other areas, including high-bandwidth memory, networks, and industrial applications, such as power and liquid cooling, UBS Global Wealth Management CIO wrote in its report. As such, global AI computing expenditure is far from peaking both in terms of amount and proportion.

As the initial investment level in AI infrastructure like GPUs tends to stabilize, the CAGR of AI computing expenditure is estimated to average 20% between 2025 and 2030, resuming to a more normalized level compared to approximately 120% from 2023 to 2025.
