China’s state-backed funds are paring back investments in U.S. private equity, with some funds also seeking to exit investments in U.S. companies made by private equity firms based in other regions, Financial Times quoted sources.

The report quotes several buyout executives stating they will not make new investment commitments to U.S. firms and, in cases where final commitments have not been made, some are withdrawing planned capital allocations.
