China's government work report for this year has included 6G technology in the core framework for future industry cultivation for the first time. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has also held meetings indicating that it will expand large-scale 5G applications and accelerate the R&D process of 6G.

In this regard, Hu Xiaopeng, head of the CCID Consulting Communication Industry Research Center, disclosed that the goal for 6G in terms of latency is to achieve microsecond-level or even lower latency, according to a report by CCTV Finance. Meanwhile, with respect to connection density, 6G will support more devices connecting simultaneously, aiding in supporting ultra-large-scale connections.
