The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) paired with a subsidiary of BIDU-SW (09888.HK) to enhance Thailand’s image as a safe travel destination, aiming to counter negative publicity surrounding the alleged kidnapping of a Chinese actor. In Bangkok, TAT signed a letter of intent with Beijing Baidu Netcom Science Technology Co., Ltd. According to TAT’s statement, Baidu will leverage digital marketing, AI-driven travel insights, and tailored content to bolster Thailand’s appeal among Chinese tourists. Last year, Thailand welcomed over 35.54 million international visitors, including 6.73 million from China. The Thai government aims to boost this year’s international arrivals to approximately 40 million, nearing pre-pandemic levels. AAStocks Financial News |
