The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China convened a meeting today (28th) to discuss the draft Government Work Report, which the State Council plans to submit for deliberation at the 3rd Session of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC).

Presiding over the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized that this year marks the final year of the "14th Five-Year Plan." He stressed that effective government work must align with the directives of the Central Economic Work Conference, adhering to a general principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability.

These efforts aim to elevate living standards, maintain social harmony and stability, successfully complete the "14th Five-Year Plan" targets, and lay a solid foundation for a strong start to the "15th Five-Year Plan."
