Silvia Ding, President of Maersk Greater China, said that she expects the growth rate of the company's cargo volume in Greater China to slow down in 4Q25 due to the ever-changing US tariff policies. Maersk's primary task, as she emphasized, will be maintaining flexibility.

During a media meeting, Ding revealed that Maersk's cargo volume in Greater China grew by around 6-7% YoY in 1H25, and exports from China to the US declined, while markets such as Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa recorded double-digit growth.
