The governments of China and South Korea will discuss the safety management of Chinese products today (18th), as there is an influx of online goods from Chinese cross-border e-commerce platforms such as BABA-SW (09988.HK)'s AliExpress, Pinduoduo (PDD.US)'s Temu, and SHEIN into South Korea, Yonhap News Agency reported.

The South Korea's government said that the two sides will explore the recall system of the two countries and the mechanism to stop harmful online shopping products. The South Korean government will also purportedly propose to China to establish communication channels to cooperate to cut off the inflow of harmful products through online shopping.
