BIDU-SW (09888.HK)(BIDU.US) recently hosted the 2024 Baidu Create - Baidu AI Developer Conference in Shenzhen, at which Xiaodu's new-generation operating system, DuerOS X, was launched, representing the world's first AI native operating system based on Baidu's ERNIE Bot foundation model, was formally announced. Li Ying, Vice President and CEO of Xiaodu Technology, said that as an important and large-scale application of the ERNIE Bot foundation model, Xiaodu AI intelligent assistant is anticipated to lead AI native applications to a whole new level. At the model level, DuerOS X will fully apply the ERNIE Bot foundation model, the group indicated. Through the model routing structure, different ERNIE Bot foundation models can be flexibly deployed to solve problems of different degrees of difficulty. At the ecological level, in addition to Xiaodu's 11,000 voice skills for film, television, music, education, smart home, etc., applications developed through the ERNIE Bot foundation models can also be seamlessly connected to Xiaodu.
