Hong Kong bourse opened with a little change. The HSI opened 1 pt higher at 16,253. The HSCEI opened 9 pts or 0.2% lower at 5,740. The HSTECH opened 6 pts or 0.2% lower at 3,333.

Techs jumbled. TENCENT (00700.HK) added 0.5%. BABA-SW (09988.HK) dropped 0.4%. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) hiked 0.6%. BILIBILI-W (09626.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK), KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK), JD-SW (09618.HK) and XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) sank 0.1%-0.8%. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) opened flat.

Automaker LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) lost 1.1%. XPENG-W (09868.HK) soared 2.8%. GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) faded 0.1%. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) dipped 1.2%. NIO-SW (09866.HK) gained 0.8%.

For financials, HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) opened flat. HKEX (00388.HK) fell 0.3%. AIA (01299.HK) leaped 2.6%, being the best performing blue chip.

SANDS CHINA LTD (01928.HK) decreased 0.4% after its first-quarter adjusted property EBITDA rose 53% year-on-year. As for ESPRIT HOLDINGS (00330.HK), the stock rallied 7.3% after it proposed to partner with a private equity group to reorganize its European business. LINGBAO GOLD (03330.HK), raising $79.3 million in a 16% discounted share placing, tumbled 8.3%.
